Dusty-Lucille (or DL as we sometimes say) is a 28′ 2023 Airstream Pottery Barn special edition. We first saw the PB edition in October 2021 and fell in love – she is much more homey feeling, with Pottery Barn textiles and styling, so it doesn’t feel like a camper. That is perfect for our nomad lifestyle. Although she is a significant downsize from Anomaly, we quickly fell in love with the comfort and simple lifestyle.
We ordered here in October 2023 and it took quite a while to be ready due to the high demand and COVID supply chain issues. We picked her up in March 2023 and headed out for a three month shakedown cruise, from New Jersey, south to Florida and then back to coastal VA and NC, before making a run to the mountains. We spent a few summer months on Anomaly before selling her, and returned to land travel in Mid August, 2023.
